Laurie Anderson
When I am looking for help and healing, all I want to know is "How are you going to help me"? So let me speak to that...
Compassion for Your Experiences: I am here to actively listen, to get to know your strengths and struggles and allow you to walk your journey at your pace. You may not believe it, but talking about your experiences can help.
No Judgment: a judgmental attitude does not have a place in therapy. I take it as an honor that my clients share the most personal and often most devastating hurt with me. I meet you where you are when you walk in my office. We walk together from there.
Education and Experience: 15 years in the field of psychology, hospitals, prisons, homes, schools and offices, I have worked in them all. All of these experiences have given me unique perspectives into the human condition and I continue to bring those lessons into every session.
Support/ Resources/ Coping Skills: Together we will identify and build a safe system of support and helpful coping skills and new resources for you to lean into when you need.
Faith: I am a Christian. I believe in a personal relationship with Jesus. It is through this relationship that I have seen and experienced miraculous healing occur in both my clients and me.
