Are you an adult women or adolescent experiencing a life changing event such as a new job, marriage, childbirth, graduation, new relationship status, grief or relocation? Feeling like you’re losing yourself through the process of this transition? Do you struggle with feeling overwhelmed… like you’re spiraling? You might even ask you’re yourself, “Who am I?” or “Who have I become?”
Periods of transition are often difficult and change over time. Such life events, either positive or negative, can cause an equal amount of stress to one’s overall functioning. Those who remain untreated experience long lasting effects such as anxiety, depression, identity confusion, and/or low self-confidence to name a few. In addition, if you have a preexisting mental health condition prior to the transition, life can become more complicated and further decrease your ability to cope with the life event.
The fact of the matter is transition is a part of life that you cannot work around, and the only way to be successful through transition is to work through it. If this is your story, I would like to help. I am passionate about working with adult women and youth to navigate the path of transition. My goal is to guide and empower individuals to make significant personal changes, overcoming barriers on their journey to through transition and self-discovery.
